Glaucoma

Eye disease in which the passages that allow fluid in the eye to drain become clogged or blocked. This increase pressure damages the optic never, which connects the eye to the brain. This type of damage can result in loss of vision.

Cataracts

Is a gradual clouding of the eyes lens, which will cause a loss of ones ability to see. In most cases they increase over time, making vision worse.

Diabetic Retinopathy

Diabetes can over time weaken and cause changes in the small blood vessels that nourish the eyes light sensitive retina. Diabetic retinopathy can seriously affect vision, and if left untreated can cause blindness. Early diagnosis and treatment is essential.

Macular Degeneration

Is the leading cause of central vision loss among older people. Develops differently in each person. Early detection of macular degeneration is the most important factor in determining if it can be treated effectively.
